Availment of Benefits

General Guidelines:

  1. Special priority is given to TPB members in availing of the following exclusive marketing opportunities:
    1. Participation in local and international industry fairs
    2. Access to familiarization trips, product presentations, etc.
    3. Access to information
    4. Promotional materials/collaterals
    5. Network and capacity-building opportunities
  2. For participation in local and international industry fairs, access to familiarization trips, product presentations and the like, and network and capacity-building opportunities, these are subject to the provisions of the specific event and are subject to change without prior notice.
  3. For access to information and promotional materials/collaterals, all requests must be made in writing and submitted to the Industry Relations & Services Division (IRSD) of the Domestic Promotions Department through [email protected].
  4. Requests must be made at least fifteen (15) working days prior to the intended date of pick-up of promotional collaterals or availment of benefit.
  5. The TPB Membership Program Secretariat reserves the right to remove or reject any request from a TPB Member that does not have a good moral standing with the TPB.

Participation in Local and International Industry Fairs

Members are given the opportunity to participate in TPB projects such as overseas sales missions and trade fairs that provide exposure for their businesses.

  1. Member shall be sent priority invitations to local and international events participated in or organized by the TPB.
  2. For participation in international events, Members shall be entitled to a minimum of 10% discount on participation fees, except for the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) and ITB Asia.
  3. For participation in local TPB-initiated events, these are subject to the provisions and demands of the event/program and shall be entitles to a discount on participation fees, if applicable.

Access to Familiarization Trips, Industry Site Inspections, Product Presentations, Market Briefings, etc.

Members are given the opportunity to enhance business development through participation in TPB programs.

  • Familiarization Trip – a trip organized typically for travel trade and media with the objective of educating them about product offerings in a destination. This may or may not include industry site inspections for evaluation purposes
  • Product Presentation – a gathering to give information about new and existing tourism products
    1. Members shall be sent priority invitations to familiarization trips, site inspections, product presentations, and market briefings.
    2. They shall be entitled to a 10% discount on events requiring registration fees.

Access to Information

  1. Members will receive the following information through email:
    • Latest tourism statistics and analysis
    • Calendar of Events listings
    • Updates on industry trends

Promotional Materials/Collaterals

Members may avail of TPB promotional collaterals, both printed and audio-visual, for their own promotional use.

  1. Printed Material – Up to three hundred (300) pieces of printed brochures per request per year, subject to availability of the promotional material/s requested.
  2. Images/Photos* – Up to three (3) images per destination may be requested, subject to availability, per year. These images may be used in only one (1) medium promoting the Philippines as a tourism destination – website, social media page (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram), etc. for a period of one (1) year. A waiver/conforme will be submitted indicating where the photo will be used.
  3. Videos* – Available promotional videos may be used free-of-charge for the duration of the membership validity. IRSD will inform the members in case there will be a change in direction in the tourism campaign. (Note: Editing and/or trimming of the promotional video is not allowed.)

NOTE: For use of Images/Photos and Videos, the TPB is currently aligning its regulations and guidelines on providing these to the agency’s stakeholders. With this, the images/photos and videos within the TPB Membership e-Library is currently out of date and/or unavailable. The TPB will provide updates regarding this matter the soonest. We thank our members for understanding.

Network and Capacity Building Opportunities

Members are given the opportunity to participate in tourism training programs and business development and marketing workshops.

  1. Members shall be sent priority invitations to either TPB-initiated and/or TPB-participated seminars and/or workshops.
  2. They shall be entitled to a 10% discount on seminars and/or workshops that require registration fees.
