The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) is pleased to inform you that the Philippines, through the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), is joining the 2nd ASEAN Online Sales Day (AOSD) on 08 – 10 August 2021 to commemorate the 54th founding anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
The AOSD is an annual ASEAN-wide e-Commerce event involving legitimate e-Commerce platforms and businesses that will offer discounts and promotions to domestic and ASEAN shoppers. The AOSD seeks to facilitate cross-border e-commerce in the ASEAN region to provide continuous sales opportunities for the participating businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, improve consumer trust in e-commerce, and promote awareness of the ASEAN identity and solidarity.
In this regard, the DTI invites TPB members with transactional websites to participate in the 3-day event and offer promotional discounts to domestic and ASEAN customers. Participants are enjoined to include their package in US dollars for the ASEAN market and use AOSD2021 as their sales promo code for monitoring and marketing purposes.
Interested participants are requested to complete the online application form and submit their company logo with the required 204px x 136px through https://www.dti.gov.ph/aseansale/application on or before August 4, 2021.
